The following activities/events were part of a “Happiness Projects” grant funded from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The intent of the projects was to bring joy and reduce stress to the community while inspiring collaboration, resiliency and opportunities for family time. These are small examples of those completed by the Brazoria County Community Coalition.

200 block of West Park Ave, Freeport, Texas
Collaborating with building owner Betty Alcala, the BCCP commissioned a mural to brighten the downtown area of Freeport.  The design represents the highlights of Freeport and encourages visitors and residents to enjoy all that Freeport has to offer.
